NO..AB84 DOES NOT DESERVE TO RETIRE A STEELER

Look..I get it. Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Antonio Brown did a lot for the organization during his nine year career in “The Burgh.” Amassing 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns. He also was an intricate part in the success of now retired and future Hall of Fame quarterback, “Big” Ben Roethlisberger. Something that us Steelers fans will most definitely never forget.

We will also never forget the hit that former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker, Vontaze Burfict put on Brown basically rebooting his brain. Setting it immediately into Diva Mode and pretty much placing a cancer in the locker room.

It all started during the final week of the 2018 season versus the AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens when, AB84 went to head coach Mike Tomlin on the sidelines with this lame ass complaint:

“I’m a little banged up. So, I meet with Coach Tomlin and I’m telling him like, hey, man, I’m a little banged up. So, I’m going to need a little time to get right. So, he’s like, if you’re banged up, man, just, you know, you, you can just go home.”

“I’m a little banged up?” Does he think that he was the only player that on that field who was banged up that day? You see..that’s where the “ME” mentality of Brown kicked in. Claiming to need time to recover in a game with Playoff Implications. That’s not what teammates do to one another. Roethlisberger was banged up all season..he never asked for a break.

I am sure everyone else knows about the words he spoke about Roethlisberger and the Rooneys as well. Basically throwing the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization under the bus with his insane accusations. So I see no reason why that same organization should honor him with the chance to retire a Steeler.

He ruined the Steelers locker room, he dicked the Oakland Raiders out of millions, he disrupted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (which I can care less about) leaving his final game in the NFL versus the New York Jets. He also dissed Tampa Bay quarterback, Tom Brady on his way out the door.

Case in point, Antonio Brown “DOES NOT” deserve to retire in the “Black & Gold!” He has not shown the prowess or the class of the Pittsburgh Steelers players before him. In my opinion..he should just retire with an NFL logo behind him. #SteelersWorld1

Should The Steelers Consider Jameis Winston In Free Agency

The Athletic Pittsburgh Senior Writer, Ed Bouchette went on the Rich Eisen Show 5 days ago stating that veteran quarterback Jameis Winston could wind up in Steelers black & gold.

Although I think he would be a wise choice for the time being, I still believe that Pittsburgh will address the quarterback position early on in the 2022 NFL Draft. So look forward to either Liberty’s Malik Willis or Pittsburgh’s Kenny Picket to sport the black & gold as well. 🤞

On Thursday former Pittsburgh quarterback Bruce Gradkowski told 93.7 The Fan’s Radio Host, Andrew Fillipponi that Winston could help the Steelers win a Super Bowl during this post-Roethlisberger stage.

Would I take it as far as Jameis taking the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Super Bowl in one to two years? Not really sold on that right now, but I do believe that he can mentor a player like Willis or Pickett to become the next to do so. Because we all know that Mason Rudolph is not the answer.

Before a torn ACL sidelined him in week 8 last season against his former team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Winston threw for 1,170 yards, 14 touchdowns with only 3 interceptions, completing 59% of his passes giving the Saints a 5-2 record.

Not outstanding numbers, but numbers nonetheless. Numbers that I believe can be improved in this stage of his career with the right organization and system. And what better organization and/or system could be better than the Steelers?

Keep in mind that Pittsburgh still have interest in Jimmy Garoppolo, Aaron Rodgers and more recently Carson Wentz, but for some reason Jameis Winston does make a bit of sense. But only time will tell. We shall see come free agency time. #HereWeGo

Pardon My French..But F*** Le’Veon Bell

Photo courtesy of Chiefs Wire/USA Today

Here we go..again! Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Le’Veon Bell is now back in the spotlight for certain clueless fans. Who for some reason would welcome this injury prone athlete with open arms. But the majority of them feel the exact same way that I do.

But of course Steelers media stirred the pot, seen in this article by Behind The Steel Curtain’s writer Michael Beck. Click on his name to see the article.

Remember the hopes of those fans wanting Bell back after the New York Jets cut ties with him? Well, I had to nip that in the bud real quick. Then came the tweet from Le’Veon after being picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs that solidified my hatred for the man.

How absolutely pathetic is a tweet like this? Especially since Bell did absolutely nothing to get the Chiefs in that position. Yet he still chose to bask in the glory with getting a blade of grass touching one single notch of his cleats.

But real Steelers fans didn’t let him get away with the tweet, here is one from Michael Bitterman:

Then there was the shorter, simple tweet by one Alex K:

But then you have the “jock riding” fans like SteelCurtain322, who seems to believe that Bell made a “business decision”:

Really? Le’Veon was due to make $15 million with the Pittsburgh if he had signed his contract. But chose to sign to play for the Jets at a lesser price. How is that a business decision? I will tell you how.

Le’Veon wanted something for nothing, and once head coach Adam Gase hit the sidelines, he was extremely quick showing him the locker room door. Because he knew that Bell’s focused attention was not on the ‘team’ but on himself.

During his time with New York, Bell accumulated 789 yards..on 245 carries with 3 touchdowns in 2019. Respectable. But once the 2020 season hit and his many injuries came into play, Gase made a wise decision in releasing him ASAP. Going 74 yards on 19 touches with zero TD’s before joining Kansas City.

Bell then signed a 1 year, $705,000 contract with the Chiefs, but I guess SteelCurtain322 still wants to believe it was a ‘business decision’. Nope! It was Le’Veon Bell trying to get something for nothing like I stated earlier.

Why else would he miss the playoff games with the team, and rack up ZERO yards on ZERO carries. Getting humiliated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9 on the largest stage in the NFL. Yet some of you fans want to even entertain the thought of wanting him back.

Look..Le’Veon Bell was a monster in the beginning with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but once his “garbage” music came into play he forgot about the Steelers.

So pardon my French, but “FUCK LE’VEON BELL!” I would rather bring back Super Bowl Champion, Antonio Brown before him. By the way..that was a lie. “FUCK AB TOO!” #HereWeGo

Steelers Fans Happy For Antonio Brown Are Not Steelers Fans

REAL TALK: If you are happy about a former individual getting a Ring over the team..you suck!

Let’s keep it real. Really Real. There should be no true Pittsburgh Steelers fan happy about former Raiders, Patriots and recent Buccaneers wide receiver, Antonio Brown. And here is the reason why..although I should never have to explain it to SO-CALLED Steelers fans.

1) HE IMPLODED THE STEELERS: After his hit from Cincinnati Bengals linebacker, Vontaze Burfict, Brown began doing uncharacteristic type of shit. Hence..the locker room filming.

2) HE FORCED HIS WAY OUT OF PITT: By disrespecting the quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger who made him the receiver he became. And by down talking coach Mike Tomlin who took a chance on Brown in the 6th round of the NFL Draft.

Video/Article of disrespect here

3) HE DESTROYED THE RAIDER WITH HIS SAME COCKY ATTITUDE: The entire situation with his SEXUAL ASSAULT that he kept quite, his issue with his HELMET, and the Frost Bite Ugly Feet he displayed? All a ploy to implode another organization. Calling his GM..that took a chance on him like Tomlin a “Cracker!”

4) HE HAD A SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE HE TOLD NO ONE ABOUT: Let’s just set the record straight. Anyone who condones this kind of action is either a victim who enjoys being assaulted..or an assaulter themselves. By the way, getting him cut by the New England Patriots with whom at quarterback?

5) HE JOINED AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED TEAM WITH THE CHEATER: Any Steelers fan that calls Tom Brady the GOAT, especially after what the Patriots got away with in the playoffs versus the Steelers really need to turn in their Falsified Fan Cards. Check Antonio’s stats below after joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Are you counting? Nine(9) regular season games, with only four(4) touchdowns. By the way, Brown accumulated only 22 yards in the win against the Selling Souls to the Devil Chiefs.

Now, who apologizes if they feel they never did anything wrong?

Long story short, any Pittsburgh Steelers fan that is proud of this character who will NEVER receive another Super Bowl Championship should really kick rocks. Because you are worthless. #HereWeGo
