According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport, Detroit Lions special teams star will be leaving the Motor City and signing a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Killebrew, the 6’2″..222 lb. joined Detroit in 2016 as a fourth-round draft pick out of Southern Utah, becoming the highest draft pick in the school’s history.
He appeared in all 16 games as a rookie. His first career interception came against New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.null
In 2020, Killebrew missed a game against the Atlanta Falcons for the birth of his first child.
“I wasn’t able to make the game, because my wife was actually in labor, and we welcomed our first child, Stormy J. Killebrew, into this world,” Killebrew told WJR.
“I was trying to figure out any way that we could align it, so that maybe I could make it down there and come back or we can have the baby. When it came down to it, I said, ‘I’m going to be here for my baby — and that’s what we did.'”
People didn’t believe me. They swore up and down that the Pittsburgh Steelers and wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster would be parting ways. Oh, how wrong they were.
Smith-Schuster may have taken a major pay cut, signing a one-year, $8 million contract, but that proves that Pittsburgh is his home. Signing a one year deal just solidified a big contract for JuJu next season with the Steelers.
This is my home, they’re gonna need a wrecking ball to take me outta here! PITTSBURGH I LOVE YOU, LET’S GO!!!!! 💛🖤💛🖤 pic.twitter.com/SPFvCLUmFl
I am officially sick and tired of this Pittsburgh Steelers Hating Moron. So sick and tired that I am actually taking the time to say just how sick and tired of Colin Cowherd I really am in my own forum. “GET YOUR POPCORN READY!”
COLIN VIA PODCAST ON THE STEELERS NEED TO MOVE ON FROM BIG BEN:

First of all, how did that 8-8..7-9 season turn out for you Colin? Because I do believe the Steelers had 11 solid wins before coming across their first loss. So there is one strike on your moronic takes and predictions.
Second, why are you always comparing Ben Roethlisberger to Tom Brady? Ben is no Brady, because Ben never had to “cheat” to gain his Super Bowl Victories. As far as Tom putting in the work in the off-season? Take a gander at the body on that douche below.

Now, if you consider that a quarterback who takes care of his “body” and puts in work, there must be an absolute mess under that $27 button ups you wear on a daily basis. You’re not FLY Colin..you’re not FLYYYYY! Mike Pence is Fly!
COLIN ON HOW BIG BEN IS NOT A HALL OF FAMER:
“WHAT THE WHAT?”
You see, this is a surefire sign of someone who has no idea what they are talking about. Someone who can’t even begin to fathom what it’s like in the National Football League, or any athletic league for that matter.
QUOTE: “I’m going to say something and uh, you’re gonna think it’s crazy.”
Another surefire sign of someone who has no idea what they’re talking about. Because we don’t think what you’re saying is crazy, “WE” think “YOU” are “CRAZY” you “MORON!”
So you honestly believe that Ben Roethlisberger would not be a proverbial Hall of Famer if he wasn’t drafted by Pittsburgh?
P.S. Be sure to follow my homie Adam Steel on YouTube☝
Ok, let’s go this route. If your Butt Buddy Brady wasn’t drafted (out of my alma mater) by the Patriots, he wouldn’t have deflated balls..filmed other team’s practices or sucked referees penises.
Seriously, the most idiotic argument I have ever heard in my life. Phillip Rivers? Would have the Rings? LMMFAO! Colin, your statisticians are honestly Fucking with you. Because we all know that you don’t research your asinine facts that don’t mean a crock of Brady.
Rivers was an “ok” quarterback in an elite system. Roethlisberger was an elite quarterback in an a elite system. Phillip would have never produced the numbers, records or wins like Big Ben has produced. Why? Because he is/was just as soft as you Colin.
So my advice to you is this..”SHUT THE FUCK UP!” And I don’t even need stats to prove that..it’s just facts. #HereWeGo
You know it cracks me up how all of these high paid media outlets, and “so-called” Facebook GM’s can be so wrong all of the time. Because what I have said has come to fruition once again.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger met with on Monday:
“Ben Roethlisberger and I met yesterday morning and we had a productive meeting,” Rooney said in a statement. “We were able to discuss a lot of things that relate to where we are and where we want to go. Ben assured me that he is committed to coming back to help us win, and I told Ben that we would like to have him back to help us win a championship.
“We both understand that the next step is to work out Ben’s contract situation.”
Roethlisberger, who turns 39 next week, also could opt to take a pay cut to the veterans minimum, which would put his cap hit just over $23 million.
The final year of Roethlisberger’s current deal comes with a $41.2 million cap hit, although a contract restructure and extension could lower that by a maximum of about $14 million.
Regardless of what the media, former Steelers players and fans may think about the situation, their opinions mean absolutely nothing. Mr. Rooney and the coaching staff make the decisions..not them.
Looking forward to another exciting NFL season with Roethlisberger at the helm, and a plethora of wide receiver talent. #HereWeGo
